Lordy, spare me from "non-smoking" "420-friendly" people.
Perhaps it means you tolerate the usage. But generally not.
Smoking is smoking. If you only smoke pot, it makes you a pot-smoker, not a non-smoker.
It's like saying I'm a vegetarian, but I sometimes eat chicken. The fact that you need a qualifier means you don't qualify.

It annoys me there, too.
If you self-identify as a non-smoker who on rare occasions has a cigarette or a puff of weed, then that's exactly what you are -- a non-smoker who rarely has a smoke. Why argue semantics? And who really cares, anyway?
I sure as hell don't have the time or energy to tell other people what they are or are not, and quite honestly it's just rude anyway. -

Fri, July 15, 2005 - 1:48 PMIf I ask someone if they smoke I actually may need to know as I'm allergic and don't really want to date a smoker. Pot, cigarettes or cloves...some smell better than others but they all trigger my asthma.
So from my pov a non smoker is someone who won't kill me and they taste better.
So I'm not judging their smoking habits I just want to know if they do or don't, not the degree.

And being vegan Im annoyed by *vegetarians* who eat chicken..ugh!
I live in San Francisco and even tho there is no smoking indoors, its EVERYWHERE outdoors. In bars therye not supposed to smoke, but if the room doesnt have a real roof, theyre allowed, or on a deck, and they leave the doors open, so they might as well just be smoking inside..it all blows in!
Also in front of the bars, you cannot walk down the street without getting a lungful of smoke. One time I was waiting for the bus in the rain and a couple of assholes lit up right under the bus shelter with the wind blowing towards me. I screamed at them until they got so mad they took a cab instead. I just couldnt take it anymore. Everytime I see someone smoking on the street knowing it will make me sick I get the urge to grab their cig and shove the lit end first up their ass!!!
Seriously!
Some of my friends feel the same way, and have almost gotten into physical fights before.
Light a cig in my face, get a punch in the face. Same thing...pretty much. Granted Im not actually that violent, but I will bitch about it...ugh!!!
